Nehemiah Communications grew out of a conversation between two businessmen who saw businesses and nonprofits failing—despite their great missions, services, or products. These men recognized that most organizations failed for basically the same reason. They lacked access to vital services that, if available, would have allowed them to flourish.

Success, therefore, could have come if they had been able to obtain cutting edge services at reasonable prices. This is exactly what Nehemiah Communications was created to offer; and, for over a decade, the company has been providing creative solutions to complex problems. Part of what makes the company extraordinary is the special care it gives to customer service and the focused attention it gives to support each organization's individual needs. Nehemiah Communications serves a wide range of clients from local establishments to national and international organizations.

The company is named after Nehemiah, a biblical character. In 446 BC, Nehemiah provided the leadership needed to marshal and to inspire residents of a city to rebuild a wall around their entire city in just a little over 50 days!

Nehemiah Communications was started in 1998. In 2002, it was bought by Kenneth Breivik, its current President and CEO. To accommodate growth, it moved to its current address in northeast Columbia, SC, in 2006.
